Lanterns large and small were lit up all over Hong Kong for the Mid-Autumn Festival in September. But pride of place went to the Hong Kong Tourism Board's spectacular giant lantern erected in Victoria Park — it measured 35 metres wide and 15 metres tall. The structure won the President's Prize in the 2003 Annual Awards of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
