Transport

The Force has 850 motorcycles and 1 650 four-wheeled vehicles. To
enhance safety for Police officers and other road users, three-point seat
belts have been fitted to all forward-facing passenger seats. Vehicles have
been fitted with air-bags and anti-lock braking systems. Improved
conspicuity markings on vehicles are an added safety feature.

The Force has introduced an Electronic Fuel Management System, the
first computerised fuelling mechanism adopted by the government. It has
improved efficiency and reduced manpower costs.
