Deputy Premier of China's State Council, Mr Zhu Rongji,
speaks at a presentation ceremony of the Ho Leung Ho Lee
Foundation, at the Hang Seng Bank Headquarters on September 23, held to honour 65 leading
Chinese scientists for their achievements in science, technology, medicine and other
science disciplines. The ceremony took place at the same time as the 1997 Annual Meetings
of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, held in Hong Kong from September 23 to
25, which Mr Zhu also addressed. |
