Enthusiastic crew
members of the Hong Kong Outward Bound School's sail-training vessel 'Ji Fung' show their
delight at the experience as they space themselves out along the bowsprit. The 132-foot
brigantine returned to Hong Kong in May after achieving distinction in the first sail
training tall ships' race in the Northern Pacific: Sail Osaka '97. Among other honours,
'Ji Fung' was the fastest tall ship to finish the month-long, 2 600-kilometre race from
Hong Kong to Osaka and was the Overall Winner in its class. |
